Softly

Raining softly, softly
Sparrow takes flight
Overhead, stratified clouds of varied greys
Share the winds with brilliant, cumulus whites.

Breaths of cool, sweet air
Break into earths dampened spices
And touch my face, my hair

Deep inside I sense a longing
For the Master of this place
Where is He whose Word was spoken
Gave us earths most beauteous face?

Ah Beauty! What is your promise?
What is your mystery?

Superficial, changing landscape
You cannot hold onto me
Much longer than the waves break
On a calm and salty sea.

Because I have seen Him
Who it is that fashioned thee,
I have known and know, His love for me.

Beauty in all your form and fire
It is not you my heart will desire
Through all eternity, you’re not enough..
You do not satisfy the restless, the longing,
The must have something, inside of me.

A Master coded universe
Lies behind your third and fourth dimensions;
Manifold Wisdom, Abundant Life
Frought with Super Natural Suspensions!

Sighing, crying, my heart no longer dying,
My heart receives a blessing,
Sweet Rain, Holy Spirit, thank you
For this days beginning!
